10 - Christ is the Word of God

1:

Read them over again to me, words from the Holy Bible;

Let me more of their beauty see, wonderful word of God,

Words of life and of beauty, teachings of faith and duty.

Refrain:

Christ is the Word, sent from above; only in Him, true life is found.

Christ is the One, God sent in love; His love for us abounds.

2:

Christ, the blessed One, gives His own eternal life in glory.

Words of God in our hearts are sown, words of eternal life,

Blessed and freely given, leading us unto heaven.

3:

Joyfully follow Jesus’ call, as He leads on to heaven;

He gives pardon and peace to all, by grace, through faith in Him.

Jesus, the only Savior, sanctifies us forever.
