33 - O Lord, Your face I’ll seek in prayer

1:

To seek You, Lord, I come in prayer;

I leave with You all my grief and care.

I come before Your holy throne

To make my needs and my wishes known.

In times of great distress and grief,

In You, my soul has found relief.

You keep me from the tempter's snare,

Whenever I go to You in prayer.

2:

O Lord, I come to seek Your face;

To do Your will, Lord, oh, give me grace.

My many faults I do confess;

Upon Your mercy alone I rest.

You cleanse me, Lord, from sin and shame;

Oh, glory to Your precious name!

From evil traps, Lord, keep me free;

Deliver me from captivity.

3:

O Lord, Your face I’ll seek in prayer;

My supplications to You I’ll bear.

In faith, Your answer I’ll await;

Your faithfulness I will celebrate.

Salvation comes through You alone;

What glorious hope my heart has known!

Oh, may Your Spirit fill my soul,

For by Your presence I’ll be made whole.
