39 -  What a love we found in Jesus

1:

What a love we found in Jesus, for our sins and grief He bore.

We have access to the Father, and His wisdom we implore.

When afflicted by the tempter, when there’s pain we cannot bear,

Let us go before the Father; He will listen to our prayer.

2:

In this world we are sojourners; there’s no peace for us below.

We should never be discouraged; strength and help, God will bestow.

Jesus is our friend so faithful, who will all our sorrows share.

In His name we seek the Father, knowing He will hear our prayer.

3:

Come to Jesus, all ye weary; take His burden, which is light.

He will give you rest and comfort; let His law be your delight.

Often, friends despise, forsake us; we find trouble everywhere.

In His arms, our God will shield us; He will keep us in His care.
