74 - We have good news to tell to the nations

We have good news to tell to the nations: it’s the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Good news of His truth and salvation, good news of a life of peace and light,

With hope of a future bright!

For the darkness shall turn to daylight, the despairing shall hope receive:

There’s life eternal with great delight, for those who in Christ believe.

2.

We’ve a message to give to the nations: God, in mercy, sent us His Son.

We’re making a great proclamation: salvation, through Christ, for man was won;

This work on the cross was done!

We’ve a Savior to show to the nations: He, whose life, for us, freely gave.

He lifted our shame and damnation; by faith in our Lord, we now are saved,

Our sins, Jesus Christ forgave!
