77 - This do in remembrance of me (Holy Supper)

1:

Lord Jesus, in rev’rence to Thee,

We break this bread in unity,

Discerning Thy body, t’was nailed to the tree,

“This do in remembrance of me.”

2:

This cup is Thy suff’ring, O Lord,

Communion of thy blood outpoured,

The price for redemption, paid at Calvary,

“This do in remembrance of me.”

3:

Lord, help us partake worthily,

Exam’ning ourselves earnestly,

Until Thy return, help us walk faithfully,

“This do in remembrance of me.”
