God of our fathers, with almighty hand, 

Lead forth Thy people over all the land.

Thou art our God, all-knowing, true and wise; 

Our grateful songs before Thy throne arise.

From war's alarms, from deadly pestilence, 

Thy mighty arm be ever our defense.

True faith and hope within our hearts increase; 

Lord, may Thy goodness nourish us in peace.

3:

O Lord, refresh Thy people on their way; 

Lead us from night to never-ending day.

Fill all our lives with love and grace divine; 

Glory and praise forevermore be Thine.
