Listen! The Shepherd's voice I hear,

Out in the desert dark and drear,

Calling the sheep who've lost their way,

Far from the Shepherd's fold, astray.

Christ invites to His fold, all the wounded and the weary souls;

He, your life, wants to bless; He will heal you and He’ll give you rest.

Jesus, the Shepherd, strong and kind,

Knows where the wand’ring sheep to find.

He'll bring the lost ones to the fold,

Where they'll be sheltered from the cold.

Out in the desert hear the cry,

Of those on mountains wild and high;

Listen, the Master speaks to thee,

"Come as you are; oh, come to me!”
