23 - The Lord is my shepherd

1:

The Lord is my shepherd each day,

And my soul will trust in His mercy.

Unto peaceful waters, He shows the way;

With Him, I have serenity.

Refrain:

"I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep,"

Jesus' words are faithful and true.

To be known by Him is a joy so deep;

Each one, our Lord foreknew.

2:

Though valleys of darkness I tread,

With His light, I see my way clearly,

And His word for me is my daily bread;

When He is near, I have no fear.

3:

The Comforter promised in love,

Jesus sent to all His believers.

It's the Holy Spirit from God above;

Through Him, God’s guidance we receive.
