24 - We worship our God

1:

We worship our God, our glorious Lord,

In rev’rence we sing, with hearts in one accord;

Our Shield and Defender, through anguish and strife,

He shelters us safely, gives sustenance and life.

2:

All glory to God, Creator and King,

Our Lord we adore; to Him, our praise we sing.

His splendor and majesty we do proclaim;

Forever we’ll honor and magnify His name!

3:

God’s mercy and love, to us He conveys;

His thoughts are above all human thoughts and ways.

In valleys of darkness, His light comes to shine;

His truth is our beacon, His presence is divine.

4:

The Spirit of truth, God’s wisdom expounds;

He brings unto us, the life that does abound.

By Christ and for Christ, all creation was made,

To Him shall all glory forevermore be paid!
