43 - I love to tell of Christ, our Lord

1:

I love to tell of Christ our Lord, who came to earth from above,

He came to be our Savior, and His life He offered in love.

I love to share His gospel, because I know it is true;

It satisfies my longings, as nothing else can do.

Refrain:

Oh, hear the proclamation: Christ offers us salvation!

In Him is justification; By grace He sets us free!

2:

I love to testify of Him, of all that He has prepared;

I cried to Him for mercy, and He heard the voice of my prayer.

He changed my life completely; my peace with God, Jesus made.

For me, He died at Calv’ry; His death, my sins have paid.

3:

All those who will in Christ believe, true life from Him will receive.

He calls to all the weary, and their burdens He will relieve.

His love is true and faithful; His word brings rest and delight.

He puts us on the pathway of justice, truth and light.
