Sun of my soul, Thou art, Savior divine,

There is no darkness where Thy light doth shine;

Oh, may no cloud on earth arise, to hide Thy face from Thy servant’s eyes.

2:

With me abide, and my failings forgive;

Without Thy presence, Lord, I cannot live.

Tarry with me when daylight ends; into Thy hands, my life I commend.

3:

Come near and bless us, O Lord, day by day,

Guide us in choosing the way we must take,

As through the ocean of Thy love we tread the path to heaven above.
