203 - Jesus bids us shine

1:

Jesus bids us shine with a bright, clear light,

Like a glowing city in the darkest night;

We will show His love in everything we do;

We have light from Jesus, so we shine through.

2:

Jesus wants us shining each day so bright,

Like a tiny candle burning in the night;

In this world of darkness, we have light divine,

Even though we’re little, our light must shine.

3:

Jesus makes us shine, for all those around;

Many kinds of darkness in this world abound:

Sin and need and sadness, everywhere we see.

When we follow Jesus, His light we’ll be.
