210 - O young people, come hear the story

1:

O young people, come hear the story of God’s love for you and for me.

Christ our Lord, for us, left His glory to face death in great agony.

While yet sinners, He died to save us, our dear Savior, God’s holy Son.

Justified by His love so gracious, now, in Him, new life we’ve begun.

2:

O young children, you’ll be victorious; God knows you, your name and your face.

Since before creation, God chose us; He knew us, through Jesus, by grace.

That we may stand holy and blameless, by His blood we are purified.

Trust in Jesus’ love and forgiveness; let’s take courage; be fortified.

3:

As a child of God the Almighty, you’ll be blest by Him every day.

Though at times you’re worried and frightened, God is with you, don’t be dismayed.

When your problems weaken and try you, strength and help the Lord will supply.

Always look to His word to guide you, and your faith, He will multiply.
