219 - Jesus’ light is in my soul today

I wandered in the shades of night, till Jesus came to me,

And with the brightness of His light made all my darkness flee.

Refrain:

Jesus’ light is in my soul today, and His Spirit guides me on my way;

Since the Savior found me, took away my sin,

I have had the blessing of His love within.

Tho' clouds may gather in the sky, and waves around me roll,

However dark the world may be, there’s light within my soul.

3:

While walking in the light of God, communion I can find;

With vigor I press onward, and I leave all sin behind.
