220 - There is Light in my soul

I’ve received a Light that’s from on high,

It is glorious and bright.

All my needs are fully satisfied,

For Christ Jesus is my Light.

In the darkness, His light is shining;

Jesus Christ, the Savior, is that Light.

We behold, through Him, God’s glory that’s sublime,

And in Him we have new life.

Light that’s glorious Jesus does impart,

And I glorify my King!

For this Light that glows within my heart,

All my praise to Him I bring!

There is gladness in my soul today,

And there’s hope and praise and love

For the blessings Jesus gives each day,

And for joys in store above.
