Storms are oft assailing;

Shadows darken my way,

But Thy power unfailing

Turns my night into day.

Unto Thee be the glory,

Blessed Savior divine!

Lord, in Thee I’m victorious;

All the honor be Thine.

When I’m weak and weary,

I find strength, Lord, in Thee.

With Thy presence so near me,

Safely guarded I’ll be.

When I’m in temptation,

Trials, weakness and pain,

Thou dost send liberation;
